  13. I just borrowed a PowerBook 170 from a friend. It's supposed to have
  14. an internal modem (Apple), but I could not figure out how to use it.
  15. In the Portable Control Panel, the internal modem is selected. I am
  16. trying to use VersaTerm or ClarisWorks, but those programs only allows
  17. you to use either the modem port or the printer port, and when I used
  18. the modem port, it did not work. Is there anything else I have to do
  19. to operate the modem or the modem is dead? Thanks for any response...
