- I can't confirm or deny your observation, but I booted up once with an
- external monitor and ADB and experienced a crash the likes of which I
- never saw before (the "Welcome to Macintosh" sign stayed on the
- screen, but the Finder trash can found its way onto the lower right of
- the display and could be selected when clicked upon...other weird
- effects were visible, too). I rebooted and everything seemed okay,
- except since then I've had big trouble with my trackball. In
- particular, the y-direction movement is really jerky, as if it is
- quantitized in 1 inch increments. I'm not sure it's related to the
- crash, but since you reported your finding, I'm wondering...
-
- Anyone else have anything to add?
