I hope someone out there can help, 'cuz I'm pretty tired of not being able to upload to my favorite BBS's!
Problem: Mac LC, Sys 7.0 w/ Tune Up 1.1.1, ZTerm .90, Global Village Teleport 2400 Baud Fax/Modem. NO extensions, other than tune-up and the Global Village control panel.
When uploading files to a Hermes-type BBS, (batch or single Z-modem) I get
about thirty minutes worth of good transmission, then the Mac crashes.
Macsbug tells me it's a sys err 14, after a call to _flushevents.
Why??????
The only good possibility I've come up with, is that because the Teleport
modem is an adb modem, the cdev that controls it must redirect signals from the modem port to the adb. Is this perhaps the problem? Anyone else out there have similar configurations? Ideas????
Thanks,
JME
