- That's a very nice precis of the differences and similarities of
- QM and Eudora. Lots and lots of folks here like QuickMail. Lots of
- others like Eudora. Having used both and administered QuickMail
- (I quit), I must admit that I like Eudora better. QuickMail is cute
- but getting to and from the Internet involves the use of yet another
- piece of software, a mail gateway, that can be another source of
- trouble. Ignoring existing standards is usually a mistake. I once
- asked a representative of CE Software why they didn't just put an
- SMTP compliant lower end on thei rcute user interface and make both
- camps happy. I never got much of an answer.
