  11. I have been using the ARA setup for the Intel 14.4EX modem that was put
  12. up on sumex about October 5 to use ARA between two Intel modems.  The
  13. setup seems to work fine to do the connection.  And seems to work fine
  14. while connected.  The problem that I have is when I try to disconnect.
  15. The modem lights go out after a few seconds, but the Remote Access Setup
  16. dialog box never really returns, and ARA is locked up until I reboot.
  17. This is what happens on my machine at home.  The connection with my machine
  18. at work is now messed up, and I can no longer connect.  Upon returning
  19. to work, I find that the connection on that end has not disconnected.  ARA
  20. still thinks that it is running, and I cannot get the modems or ARA to work
  21. right until I reboot the machine.

  23. Has anyone else had this problem??  I tried calling Intel, but they told
  24. me the same thing as they told the person who set up these files - they
  25. don't support ARA.  Has anyone found a solution to the problem??  I intend
  26. to order the ARA developer's kit, but not until the new funding cycle starts
  27. next year.
