- As Adobe Illustrator is launched, the system software allocates memory for
- each font that you have installed. This memory is not deallocated until you
- restart your Macintosh. I am suprised that you are losing 600K; it appears
- you have numerous fonts installed. You can reduce this problem by using a
- font utility such as Suitcase II or MasterJuggler to disable fonts until
- they are needed.
