- DS>I am helping a new Macintosh user [my mom] sort out much of the new

- DS>WordPerfect.
-
- I use both WP5.1/DOS and Word 5.1/Mac. IMHO, the key advantage of
- WP5.1/DOS on a DOS system, e.g., speed through function key commands,
- have essentially NO value on the Mac, where Word seems much more
- versatile, anyway. One reason you may find so many books on WP/Win is
- that it is a real PITA to use, a problem that does NOT plague Mac users
- of either WP _or_ Word.
-
- Regardless of the ratio of WP/Win to WP/Mac books, I doubt that your
- mother will find the need for either with a Mac, as both program's
- manuals are pretty good. Myself, I've never even SEEN a WP/Mac book.
