- Hi Shannon. I've been using At Ease in an undergraduate lab for about 6 months now.
- It works great but there are some limitations. Such as the inability to create folders
- or areas for specific users, delete alias from the document pages etc.
-
- The only option I have found (which didn't work - I specifically used At Ease because
- the users couldn't seem to handle the Mac without messing things up) is to use Save As
- from the file menu and save in a folder. The alias to the document still appears in
- the document menu however. Microsoft word for one does allow the creation of folders.
-
- Of course this doesn't disuade people from saving a document in say the Extensions
- folder. To protect against this I have made some of the folders invisible with
- ResEdit, such as the Extensions folder.
-
- If anyone does write you with a better solution please e-mail it to me.
-
- Thanks, John
