  19. A couple things come immediately to mind:

  21. 1) Please remember to hit return at the end of a line while typing in a
  22.    *NIX environment. Unlike oue Macs most *NIX text-processors do not
  23.    automatically wrap a line.
  24.  
  25. 2) You could try selecting your HD and giving it a "big" label (from the
  26.    Label menu in Finder). This >should< tell Spacesaver to uncompress
  27.    everything on the drive and to not recompress it.

  29. 3) If you have MagicMenu: Select your HD and select Magic->Expand. (You may
  30.    want to hold down the Option-key when doing this. This will bring up a
  31.    "One-Time-Only" prefferences box for Magic Menu. Make sure that
  32.    "Spacesaver Files" is selected.)

  34. No matter how you extract the drive anke sure that you remove Spacesaver
  35. immediately (otherwise you'll get the same bloody problem).
