- Yes. It's called StuffIt SpaceSaver. Just use the control panel
- to pick a file name or label (if running System 7) criterion to
- designate files to "Never compress", then name or label your
- hard disk accordingly. All SS'd files are expanded automatically.

- files will show up with StuffIt icons; current versions of
- StuffIt Lite or Deluxe will expand them automatically if they
- are double-clicked in the Finder.

- the 3.0 upgrade, the latest version of Magic Menu has menu
- options that can expand SpaceSaver files or tell you how many
