  14. Okay, I've tried everything to get MIDI songs to play in Windows, and I
  15. still can't.  I just got the Patch Manager and I can't even get any patches
  16. to load up!  There are no patches available for selection in the windows,
  17. and I can't get any patches from MIDI songs as well.  I also got the
  18. MIDIDRUM file from the Gravis BBS, and that doesn't work as well.  The WAVs
  19. play fine though, its just the MIDs that don't make any sound (and yes, I
  20. did check the volume for playing MIDI in the mixer).

  40. The .DRV files are located in my WINDOWS\SYSTEM subdir as well, but when I
  41. choose "Unlisted or Updated Driver" from the DRIVERS applet in the CONTROL
  42. PANEL, the only thing I can select is "Ultrasound Wave and MIDI Synth".
  43. Shouldn't I also be able to select the "Ultrasound MIDI out port" or
  44. something?

  46. My OEMSETUP.INF file in WINDOWS\SYSTEM is 239 bytes long and is dated
  47. 9/17/92.  Is that the same for everyone else?  Also, my install disks for
  48. the GUS are labelled v1.1.  I'd like the later ones, but I don't have FTP
  49. access and I can't afford to download those large files at long distance
  50. rates.

  54. By the way, if I have an older version of the OEMSETUP.INF, could someone
  55. please UUENCODE the new one and post it here?  It's not really that large,
  56. and I'd really think it would help...
