- I mainly wanted sound on my PC to spice up my day -- and provide
- the useful function of signalling when a background task is finished
- in a multi-tasking environment.

- This can be done, and with SBPro running at full speed when it's
- called up, so the sound truly sounds good. It has to do with
- triggering a Desqview macro from any window, from the *background*,
- which goes to a dedicated SBPro window and runs the desired sound.

- This is accomplished in part by a public-domain keyboard-buffer-stuffer.
