  13. I mainly wanted sound on my PC to spice up my day -- and provide
  14. the useful function of signalling when a background task is finished
  15. in a multi-tasking environment.

  17. This can be done, and with SBPro running at full speed when it's
  18. called up, so the sound truly sounds good.  It has to do with
  19. triggering a Desqview macro from any window, from the *background*,
  20. which goes to a dedicated SBPro window and runs the desired sound.

  22. This is accomplished in part by a public-domain keyboard-buffer-stuffer.
