  21. Jana answered your first question, but to answer your second question:

  23. To upgrade your GUS to 1 Meg, you just pop in those 6 DRAM chips.  No
  24. jumpers to set.  Properly written software will detect the amount of
  25. RAM your GUS has and use it accordingly.  It's not up to the GUS to 
  26. recognize that it has 1 Meg, but the software.
