  10. I'm having a problem with FEEDBACK (and is it ever LOUD!).  Anyway, I 
  11. purchased a Thunderboard and have been very happy with it, with the 
  12. exception that the microphone that I originally bought was lousy at 
  13. best.

  15. A friend gave me a powered microphone from a Sun workstation and it
  16. does work (and real well) if I turn off the speakers that I have 
  17. connected to my PC.  If I don't turn off the speakers, then I hear
  18. feedback (and so does the rest of the neighborhood).  I have tried
  19. moving the mic and the speakers to no avail.
  20.  
  21. If anyone has any ideas on what I can do, please let me know via
