- Thanks for the information, you two. VESA does have a spec for 24bit
- color; I know, because my last SVGA card, the Genoa 7900 (which suports
- 24bit color in 640x480) came with a VESA driver and the 24bit color was
- supported.

- If indeed the ATI could be used up to 16bit color with a VESA driver, I'd
- appreciate ATI hurrying up about it and releasing the 16bit VESA driver. I
- just called their BBS in Canada a few days ago and they still have the old
- v2.01 VESA driver online, which only supports 8bit color up to 1024x768.
