  28. A friend of mine just recently purchased a Gravis Ultrasound 16 bit 
  29. card.  The card sounds great and has excelent clarity.  The card can     
  30. take 8 bit recordings and plays in 16 bit.  The only problem we had
  31. was installing the card.  It took two of us about 2 and a half hours to get
  32. the card installed and running.  The installation software was not 
  33. documented well and the setup program kept locking up the machine which
  34. required a cold boot to get any response fromm the machine.  Other than
  35. that, the Windows drivers work well once you figure out their instillation.
  36. That too was frustrating due to poor documentation and the poor setup 
  37. program.. Other than that, the card is a great value and I recommend it
  38. instead of the 8 bit sound blaster due to the great price. As of yet,
  39. I don't believe any compatability problems have occurred.
