- There is some question as to whether this would be violating the
- spirit (if not the letter) of the IBM licensing agreement with Intel,
- which requires that IBM only sell processors that are on boards (with
- the intent being that they would only sell them on IBM motherboards).
- IBM is reportedly planning to sell the CPU chips on little tiny
- daughter cards that just plug into the CPU slot on other motherboards.
