-
- There is a probably a good reason you can not remember the model number,
- PGS did not like to give their products numbers :) I have one of their
- first models, the Ultrasync. This has aproximately 11" diag screen. It
- sounds like you have a Ultrasync 14.
-
- : Anyways, I've been running it off an EGA system until now; now I want to
- : attach it to a VGA adapter but the cable I have is the wrong type. Does
- : anyone have *any* idea:
-
- : a) how I can contact Princeton (are they still in business?)
-
- I am not sure of the status of Princeton, but the phone number given
- in the latest review of one of their products, was for a company called
- Ultimate Display Solutions Inc. I sent my Ultrasync to them for repair,
- They seem to have done a decent job, and the turn-around was quicker
- than promised.
-
- : b) where I can get the necessary cable?
-
- 1) The monitors were sold with 9-pin and 15-pin cables. If you are the
- original purchaser, check that you don't already have one laying around.
- (Like I did :). If you got it from someone else, ask them if they have it.
-
- 2) Call UDSI and ask them.

- 1125 Northmeadow Pkwy., Suite 120
- Roswell, GA 30076
- (404) 664-1010 phone (They have an 800 #, I would have to dig it up)
- (404) 664-4103 fax
-
- 3) Check the local computer stores (Not the discount houses.).
-
- 4) Make your own cable or adapter (what I did before I found the cable
- :(). I used a standard VGA cable and rewired a 9-pin to 25-pin adapter.
- If you want to do this, let me know. I have the manual, with the pinouts,
- and a little experience.
-
- : Thanks.
-
- Hope I could help. These monitors are kinda small, but the color and
- clarity are top notch. I am driving mine with a ATI Integra
- (800x600x256) with good results.
