  11. A friend has an old Zenith laptop, which he bought used.  There
  12. is a fair amount of "burn" on the LCD screen, sort of like the
  13. screen burn effect you see on CRT displays.  Anyway, my question
  14. is:  Has this problem been solved?  How many hours of operation
  15. on a typical LCD before it shows this effect?  Is it less of a
  16. problem on expensive machines, or machines with active matrix
  17. LCD, e.g. PowerBook?
