- A friend has an old Zenith laptop, which he bought used. There
- is a fair amount of "burn" on the LCD screen, sort of like the
- screen burn effect you see on CRT displays. Anyway, my question
- is: Has this problem been solved? How many hours of operation
- on a typical LCD before it shows this effect? Is it less of a
- problem on expensive machines, or machines with active matrix
- LCD, e.g. PowerBook?
