- Flipping through some PC games magazine, I can't help but notice some very
- interesting new games (some already released, some in development) that
- I hope will make it to the Amiga, especially the AGA versions.
- Has anyone seen Commanche? I'd say it's the closest any helicopter (flight)
- simulator has ever come to realistic fractal like terrain and ray-traced
- texture-mapped 3-D enemies (though I think some trick is involved).
- There's another flight sim (can't remember its name) coming that includes
- light-source Gourad shading and whatever. The in-game shots looked really
- neat. Still another is a 3-D polygon game with a H.P. Lovecraft scenario.
- Again the in-game shots showing a 3-D polygon human battling Cthulu mythos
- monsters, with effects like texture mapping and shows, looked simply
- amazing. Will we Amiga game players ever get to play these?
