- They are available from SPECIALIZED console shops which import stuff
- themselves from Hong Kong/Taiwan. They are under-the-desk-stuff, don't
- expect to find half-page ads/large display stands in stores...
-
- Carts are usually around 512-1MB. There's few 1.5MB and 2MB carts
- (megaBYTES, not megabits, in which case you can multiple
- all by 8) and by using HD floppies, anything upto 1MB goes in
- one part, and others can be splitted to two disks with no problem.
-
- Backup system has 1 or 2 megabytes of RAM, and the games is loaded
- there using the disk drive OR a copier-PC link cable (from a PC HD/floppy)
-
- 99% of games can be copied. Nowdays there have been some games that
- have been more or less protected agains these copiers, but they are
- usually copied some way sooner or later.
