- Wing Commander on the Amiga is not all that bad. If you have a fast computer,
- and the 3000 would qualift as such :), then the game should definitely be
- playable. It' s a little too slow on a stock A500, so anything faster should
- work just fine. THe graphics, while dithered, are not hideous, though
- not state-of-the-art Amiga. Gameplay, as well, looks fairly similar to the
- IBM version. My one surprise, though: Remember the demo everyone one the net
- was bashing and then turned out to be a fake? Well, the animation
- sequences in that "fake" demo (i.e. of the soldiers running down the hall,
- etc..) were much better than the REAL animation sequences.
-
- All in all, the game is certainly playable on a faster machine,
- and the graphics are adequate, but no way is the game "state-of-the-art"
- (I've seen some euro-demos that can, in 100k of code, blow away anything
- Origin can do in three disks. BTW, why don't euro-demo-coders ever
- code games?)
