  19.     I had another problem with it that stopped me from using it
  20.     permanently - once a connection was established, VLT would only
  21.     update the screen in bursts. My guess is that the
  22.     baudbandit.device handles timeouts a little different from the
  23.     serial.device, and doesn't return characters to VLT until some
  24.     buffer fills or I press a key that VLT notices.
