Well, I'm pretty fortunate, my dealer is about 3 miles away.  Its sort of
a mom & pop operation.  Quite humerous really.  The owner looks very
well-to-do, however, he never talks.  Talking to him is like pulling
teeth.  The technician, on the other hand (who never shuts up), hasnt
bathed for who knows how many days, has long, stringy, uncombed hair,
shirt half-tucked in, and the obligatory jeans half way down his rear with
no underwear.  To top it off, they operate out of the back of a house.  I
have a hard time bringing my pc friends in there to impress them.

To address the issue of not opening the top.  I think its a joke.  I work
with pc hardware every day, installing cards, hard drives, memory,
replacing motherboards, blah blah blah.  Then I find out I'm not allowed
to install a meg of ram in my 2000?  Hmmmmmmm.
