- Well, sort of fixed by new display modes on newer Amigas.

-
- Fixed since WB/KS 2.0.

- Yes, nice, isn't it?

- I never had problems with it, must be personal preference. AND you can
- edit it easily to your taste.
-

- There is the ENDCLI command.

- It's impossible. Period, sorry.

- Yes, so you can look at another screen and all going on on it simultaneously.
- E.g. I used to demo a PC Bridgeboard with this (under MS-DOS!): This can
- support a monochrome text mode and a CGA-compatible graphics mode (well,
- at least, it's CGA :-). Then Lotus 1-2-3 supports a dual-monitor mode
- where one display contains the spreadsheet as text and the other shows some
- graphics of the same data. On the Amiga, I had both screens open, dragged
- one of them down ca. half way and could watch them simultaneously. - Or
- you can have two different applications, both with own screens, be visible
- at once, or even more than two.

- First there are those "depth" (fore/background) gadgets in the right top
- of the screen. Then you have also a keyboard command: Under OS 1.3 and
- earlier it's Left-Amiga-N to bring the WB screen to front and
- Left-Amiga-M to put it in the back (you can't get to every screen this
- way, therefore:); under OS 2.0 and later this is partly configurable,
- but normally you use that Left-Amiga-M now to simply page through all
- existing screens.
-
- >Real quick like - how do I change the resolution of the workbench, and

-
- Use OS 2.0 or later :-). There are Preferences for this. Earlier OSes
- don't provide this.
-
- >Where can I get the Work Bench Lander thing? Peter da Silva, you know what
- >I mean?
-
- Standard answer: Somewhere on the Fish disks. Let's see: disk 100, 114.
