  12. Far be it from me to praise the morons at Atari but I do believe they
  13. managed to pull off the price tag...  Alas the only thing keeping me
  14. from jumping ship and buying an amiga is that goshdarned DSP...

  16. Typical, in 86 they kept me from buying an amiga by getting the ST out
  17. fast and at half the price of an amiga.  Of course, the amiga was wee bit
  18. better technologically but it just wasn't worth $1000 more to me as I
  19. was a poor struggling college student and I got my ST wholesale by
  20. snagging a Christmas vacation job at a computer store that didn't
  21. sell amigas so I never knew their wholesale price...

  23. So convince me why I should abandon one loser company for another... Irving
  24. Gould or the Katzenjammer kids, what a choice...  But seriously, I WANT to
  25. be convinced...  I'm really ambivalent towards both companies right now...
