  29. I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say that there is *no way* to write
  30. directly to the disk sectors under OS/2, except from a device driver.  Also,
  31. although an OS/2 program can freely erase important files from the (local)
  32. disk, the really crucial stuff (kernel, shared libs, drivers) is still
  33. protected agaomst modification and erasure.
