- My point of contention with the original poster was on the general
- acceptability of organisations like the FTC or the DOJ anti-trust crowd. The
- object of supervising/regulating business in order to prevent/undo monopolies
- is an idea that most people find acceptable.

- Yamanari did not. My detailed knowledge of the FTC is a bit dated (from the
- time when I lived in Canada). I'm actually a Canadian living in new Zealand, so
- my knowledge of things North American is pretty good. I have also been fairly
- interested and active in number of areas of public policy through interest
- groups.
