  21. Creating Groups

  23. You can create a group in Program Manager to help organize your
  24. applications and documents.

  26. To create a group:

  28.   1)    From the File menu, choose New.
  29.   2)    In the New Program Object dialog box, select the Program Group
  30.         option, and then choose the OK button.
  31.   3)    In the Description box in the Program Group Properties dialog
  32.         box, type a description for the group. This description will
  33.         appear in the title bar of the group window and below the group
  34.         icon.
  35.   4)    Choose the OK button. Program Manager creates a .GRP file for
  36.         the group, so you can leave the Group File box blank.

  38. Creating Program Items

  40. A program-item icon represents an application, accessory, or document in
  41. a Windows group. By choosing the icon for a program item, you start the
  42. application or accessory, or open the document. You can also create a
  43. program item by using a mouse to drag a program or document file from
  44. File Manager to a Program Manager group.

  46. To create a program item

  48.    1)   Open the group window that you want to add an item to.
  49.    2)   From the File menu, choose New.
  50.    3)   In the New Program Object dialog box, select the Program Item
  51.         option, and then choose the OK button.
  52.    4)   Fill in the Program Item Properties dialog box as necessary, and

  56. button or press F1 while using the dialog box.
