- I have a simple database and been keeping track of it using Excel. When
- I want to sort in Excel, I just select the records and specify the sort
- field(s) in the sort dialog box. Is there a similarly simple way to
- sort tables in Access? My impression, from a cursory reading of the
- manual, is that I have to use filter to sort. I tried this and when I
- closed the filter window to get back to the table window, the database
- is back to the old order.
-
- Could someone tell me what I forgot to do? Thanks for your help.
- And why doesn't Access allow me to sort right when I am in the table
- window?
