  12.     I have a simple database and been keeping track of it using Excel. When
  13.     I want to sort in Excel, I just select the records and specify the sort
  14.     field(s) in the sort dialog box. Is there a similarly simple way to
  15.     sort tables in Access? My impression, from a cursory reading of the
  16.     manual, is that I have to use filter to sort. I tried this and when I
  17.     closed the filter window to get back to the table window, the database
  18.     is back to the old order.

  20.     Could someone tell me what I forgot to do? Thanks for your help.
  21.     And why doesn't Access allow me to sort right when I am in the table
  22.     window?
