- I routinely load large datasets into Excel for doing quick tables with the
- xtab command. These are usually in the range of 8,000 x 30 or so. The only
- hardwired limit that I know of is the 16K row limit.

- Call MS and ask for the Excel Software Development Kit. I believe it runs
- about $50 including a disk with sample c source code.
