- You might want to check out Q+E from Pioneer Software. I have the version
- that was bundled with Excel and it provides DDE access to Rdb servers on the
- VAX via DECNet. I'm waiting to get Rdb reinstalled on the cluster to see
- what the performance is like. BTW, the version bundled with Excel is 2
- revisions behind the current Q+E product.

- I've also seen press releases to the effect that (1) DEC will provide an NT
- based Rdb server and (2) DEC has committed to providing an ODBC driver for
- PathWorks/Rdb for Access during Q2 '93. Our system manager recently came
- back from a DEC presentation on Alpha and it sounds like DEC has all sorts
- of goodies just waiting on the formal release of NT!
