-
- While I appreciate the reasons why this is so, perhaps you will
- appreciate that it is of little comfort to me to be told this *after* I
- paid 99 pounds + 17.5% VAT for Quarterdeck's port of Motif. In my
- naivete, I assumed that Quarterdeck would have added the same sort of
- support for Mark and Transfer as they did to DWM. It appears that I was
- wrong. I wish I had known about this before I placed my order.
-
- I find it somewhat astonishing to receive mailshots for Quarterdeck's
- port of Motif which, in effect, say "buy this" and then, when I do and I
- find a problem with it, to be told by someone who works for Quarterdeck
- that "the best workaround is to use DWM". You are doing your own
- company's software offerings a great disservice by making suggestions
- like this.
-
- If I were to take up your suggestion that I use DWM instead of Motif,
- would Quarterdeck give me a refund for my newly redundant copy of Motif?
-
- Giles.
