  20. While I appreciate the reasons why this is so, perhaps you will
  21. appreciate that it is of little comfort to me to be told this *after* I
  22. paid 99 pounds + 17.5% VAT for Quarterdeck's port of Motif.  In my
  23. naivete, I assumed that Quarterdeck would have added the same sort of
  24. support for Mark and Transfer as they did to DWM.  It appears that I was
  25. wrong.  I wish I had known about this before I placed my order.

  27. I find it somewhat astonishing to receive mailshots for Quarterdeck's
  28. port of Motif which, in effect, say "buy this" and then, when I do and I
  29. find a problem with it, to be told by someone who works for Quarterdeck
  30. that "the best workaround is to use DWM".  You are doing your own
  31. company's software offerings a great disservice by making suggestions
  32. like this.

  34. If I were to take up your suggestion that I use DWM instead of Motif,
  35. would Quarterdeck give me a refund for my newly redundant copy of Motif?
