  36. Most clients require either no changes or only trival mods not to break
  37. under gopher plus. However, this kind of popup announcement is an extra
  38. feature that is not going to come automatically even with support of
  39. the gopher plus protocol.

  41. I would repeat one of my earlier suggestions: Modify the server code
  42. to put a disclaimer after (or even before) all plain text items.

  44. This way all clients will see it.

  46. (I would be personally annoyed at having to dismiss lots of little pop-up
  47. announcements.)
