  14. I am having some trouble porting the `gopher' 1.1 client to AIX 3.2.

  16. 1) Sometimes `gopher' ignores all keyboard input and the session must
  17.    be killed.
  18.  
  19. 2) Line-drawing characters are not always drawn correctly.  Such characters
  20.    are displayed by the Shift-O options menu.
  21.     a) On a PC, IBM-PC MS-DOS Kermit 3.12 with VT100 emulation works.
  22.     b) On a PC, IBM-PC MS-DOS Kermit 3.12 with VT320 emulation works.
  23.     c) On an Xstation, "aixterm -e gopher" gives the output below.
  24.        Reverse and bold attributes are not shown here.
  25.     d) On an Xstation, "xterm -e gopher" gives the output below.
  26.        Reverse and bold attributes are not shown here.
  27.        Also, lower-case letters in the option names, such as "Pager Command"
  28.        are displayed as faces, suits, arrows, and other silly characters.
