- Incorrect. HP was the first to publish a few months ago. IBM then
- published a high end AS/400 that has better TPC-C performance and a
- low end model that has better price/performance. Look for many
- companies to publish this spring now that the ice has been broken.
- HP and IBM will also likely publish improved numbers.

- TPC-C is, of course, only one benchmark. However, it better
- represents what customers are doing in the transaction processing
- market than any other public benchmark.
