  24. According to IBM ES/3090 Sustems Assurance Product Review Guide,
  25. SA90-004-03, your 3090-200J can:
  26.  
  27.     run in S/370, ESA/370 and LPAR mode
  28.     a Dyadic machine, meaning can run UP or AP
  29.     comes with standard 32 channel paths (VM/SP HPO can support
  30.          max 64, 32 paths on each of two channel sets in S/370).

  32. Hence if you are only running one VM then you should define
  33. your CP as AP, attached-processor mode, with definition for
  34. 32 channels, ie X'00' to X'1F'.
