- Dear Folks,
-
- While visiting my wife's grandmother over Christmas I spent some time
- going through the books under her stairway. One that I came across was:
-
- Symon, Lord Bishop of Ely: Commentary upon the First Book of Moses, Called
- Genesis. (3rd ed.) London: 1704.
-
- Except for being mouse-eaten on two corners it was in good shape.
- Does anyone know anything about this book, other than the fact that it
- is a shockingly-old thing to find tucked away in a private residence?
-
- Yours,
-
- James G. Carrier
