  16.                   STOP THE ABORTION OF CHRISTMAS
  17.  
  18. "He ordered the massacre of all the boys two years old and under in
  19.  Bethlehem." --Matthew 2:16
  20.  
  21. Christmas is the celebration of life.  We celebrate the birthday of Jesus,
  22. God-made-man.  However, the Christmases of the past twenty years have been
  23. the deadliest in history because of the abortion of millions of babies.
  24.  
  25. To stop this child-killing and put life back into Christmas, we must:
  26.  
  27.     1. obey every command of God, even if He tells us to get up in the
  28.            middle of the night and go to Egypt (Mt 2:13-14).
  29.     2. love the modern Herods into God's kingdom by forgiving them, praying
  30.            and suffering for them, and sharing the love of Jesus with them
  31.     3. repent of apathy and lack of faith.  "If we acknowledge our sins, He
  32.            Who is just can be trusted to forgive our sins and cleanse us
  33.            from every wrong (I Jn 1:9).
  34.     4. realize that our battle is not against human beings but against the
  35.            devil (Eph 6:12).  By prayer and fasting we can drive out the
  36.            demon of abortion (see Mt 17:21).
  37.     5. fix our eyes on Jesus (Heb 12:2).  He can raise aborted babies from
  38.            the dead, forgive those who killed them, and save us all from
  39.            death and damnation.  Jesus is the Lord of life.
  40.

  42. Prayer:  Baby Jesus, may Christmas, and children, not be aborted but restored.
  43.  
  44. Promise: Jesus "is an Offering for our sins, and not for our sins only, but
  45.          for those of the whole world." --Jn 2:2
  46.  
  47. Praise:  The Holy Innocents will be used by the Lord to stop abortion.
  48.
