  22. Ed, no one is defending the use of violence here.  OR members are pledged
  23. to be nonviolent ( I will type in a copy of the pledge OR participants
  24. are supposed to sign later).  If there has been violence by OR participants
  25. at OR rescues, such violence is not approved of, encouraged, or condoned
  26. by OR.
