  11.      Picked up The Waxing Poetics _Bedtime Story_ in the cutout bin
  12. the other day. They are a four piece  (2 guitars, bass, and drums)
  13. rock band from Norfolk, VA. I had heard of them when I lived there
  14. a couple of years ago. I've only listened to it once, but enjoyed it
  15. immensely. Their sound kind of reminds me of The Smithereens. But
  16. what bummed me out was that the case and the label on the CD list
  17. 14 songs, but there were only 12. I had been reading everyone elses
  18. misfortunes and thinking to myself, 'Glad that hasn't happened to me!'
  19. and now it has. I don't even know if I'll be able to get a replacement,
  20. because I picked the last one in the bin. I will try though.
  21.      I was in Kansas City this past weekend, and found a totally cool
  22. music store where you can sell or trade tapes, CD's, records,
  23. or posters for theirs. I found a copy of _Transmutation_ and the soundtrack
  24. to _Shaft_ that I'm going to pick up this weekend when I go back. This
  25. gives me a good opportunity to unload all of those "dogs" I've picked
  26. up over the years. 8^). Can't wait to get _Transmutation_ based on
  27. everyones reviews. 8^) 8^).
