  17. Well, Len, I think the reasoning is that God can pretty well
  18. take care of himself, and people dissing the Old Man are only
  19. putting their own eternal life in jeopardy.  On the other hand,
  20. when a society turns against its minorities, things can get
  21. awfully tough for those folks.  I trust I won't have to make
  22. a list of examples (and one need not restrict oneself to the
  23. states in this).

  25. I guess if I were omnipotent, I wouldn't care that much what
  26. y'all said about me behind my back - and I wouldn't care that
  27. much if you did (in a fit of self-destructiveness) advocate
  28. violence against me.  But I think a little extra-consideration
  29. for those who aren't omnipotent is neither hypocritical nor
  30. an excessive burden to bear.
