  13. A post-doctoral scientist is required to work with Dr DC Warhurst
  14. on  a study of detection methods for the pathogenic free-living amoeba
  15. Naegleria fowleri. The appointment will be for two years , funded under a
  16. contract from the Department of the Environment.

  18. Candidates should have experience in nucleic acid techniques or antibody work,
  19. and aptitude in cell culture, but knowledge of free-living amoebae is not ess
  20. essential.

  22. Starting salary will be up to #15,563 plus London Weighting of #2134 per annum.
