  22. If cable companies were normal businesses, I'd agree with you.
  23. But in every place I've gotten cable service, the cable provider
  24. was a monopoly.  I couldn't punish one provider for bad service
  25. by going to another one.  A political solution is possibly the
  26. only one in this case.
