  28. b. Packwood has some VERY Politically Incorrect views, not the least of which
  29.    is defending the loggers against the spotted owl lovers. He even supported
  30.    the revision to some of the EPA's authority to include considering job
  31.    loss -- now, considering the impact of things on PEOPLE is just so anti-PC.

  33.    He also defeated a woman candidate in 1986 and a much more liberal
  34.    (Democratioc) candidate the last time.
