  32. Yes this is all part of the balancing act that the justice system goes
  33. through (and sometimes too much) in the attempt to make sure that punishment
  34. by death is appropriate and fair.

  42. Why not try and correct the situation before it starts to happen.  We 
  43. as a society promote violence as the due process of eliminating those
  44. we decide are criminals.  Controls applied after the fact usually don;t
  45. work, but if we condition and education before the fact we may have a 
  46. better handle on overall control of violent crime.
