  22. lunch buffet on weekends:  1) India Cookhouse on Castro Street and 2)
  23. Passage to India on El Camino Real near Shoreline.

  25. Also, it's been well over a year ago now, but I had a good lunch buffet 
  26. that I think was on the weekend at Gaylord's Indian Restaurant in
  27. Stanford Shopping Center.

  32. was $8.99.

  34. There are several buffet chinese food places around the area.  One just
  35. opened a few months ago on Castro Street in Mountain View.  I don't
  36. remember its name, but it's across from Double Rainbow near the train
  37. tracks.

  39. There are also things like the Fresh Choice salad bar chain for good
  40. non-indian buffet eating.  In addtition to their great salad bar, they
  41. also usually offer 3 or 4 soups, 2 kinds of pasta, various freshly-baked
  42. breads, fruit, soft-serve ice cream, and other dessert-type items.
