  18. The volume should go up, which may inherently impact the s/n ratio, I
  19. don't know. But the increased exposure would be worth it, and if
  20. there's too much irellevant posting, it only encourages people to
  21. write better news reader s/w. :-)

  26. Personally, I still want to keep news postings in the .uucp group. If
  27. a new group is created, .cnews is the wrong name. Besides other news
  28. s/w like the AmigaUUCP news s/w, is everyone forgetting about other
  29. news related s/w? Look at the postings in .uucp and .uucp.patches.
  30. Much of the traffic is about news *readers* and other utilities that
  31. are independent or at least separate not only from the news transport,
  32. but also from the news s/w being used.
