  12. It is my understanding that this group, alt.startrek.creative, was/
  13. is chartered for the posting of ORIGINAL creative materials such as
  14. stories, poems, songs, etc.

  16. It is also my understanding that discussions of those SAME ORIGINAL
  17. creative materials are also appropriate.

  19. Lately, this group has been used by many for "general" discussions
  20. about startrek. Those discussions probably should go to one of...

  28. Also, twice within the last ~4 months well meaning folks have started
  29. "add a bit" stories in the group. As has been pointed out by several
  30. posters, these add-a-bit stories are best constructed off-line (by
  31. e-mail) and then posted here in "final" form.

  33. This posting is a plea that "we" get back to basics and let this
  34. group serve its intended purpose.

  36. Finally, to all the authors of stories, poems, songs, etc. thank you
  37. for your creative efforts. Please continue, there are many of us who
  38. subscribe purely to read your work.
