  11. I've just discovered this newsgroup, and you've no idea how stoked I
  12. am. It's so interesting to hear anything from skaters outside of the
  13. Californian establishment.
  14. The earlier messages from David in Edinburgh are no longer available, 
  15. so can someone bring me up to date? Is he looking for equipment or
  16. contacts? Doesn't he know of any skaters in Edinburgh? I've mailed
  17. him but have had no reply yet.
  18. It's easy to hook up with skaters in Edinburgh: the main street spot
  19. is Bristow Square. Otherwise you can always go through to Glasgow, to 
  20. Clan Skate shop there, or, of course, Livingston skatepark, which is
  21. about the best bit of concrete in Britain.

  23. On the subject of skaters and raving. Don't believe all you read on
  24. the subject. The new Big Brother, for example claims that the latest
  25. R.a.D Mag (UK skate mag with very hardcore techno musician as
  26. designer) Reader Survey says that raving is out in UK. Where they got 
  27. that from I do not know: no results have yet been published, and I
  28. very much doubt if they will support that claim.
